Food & Beverage
We are pleased to provide you with a variety
of menu selections. Our menus are only suggestions
and our chef is available to create a personalized
menu that meets your needs.
Alcoholic
Beverages
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission regulates
the sales and service of all alcoholic beverages.
Texas State Law requires that no alcohol may
enter of leave the premises.
Table
Decor
Complimentary votive candles and decorative
tile mirrors are available – Hurricane
lamps are available at $5.00 each. Complimentary
white floor length linens and napkins are
provided for all events. Wedding package includes
choice of chair cover and sash.
Room Set – Up
Event space is assigned according to the anticipated
number of guests and requirements for the
room set – up. The Houston Marriott
Westchase reserves the right to reassign event
space at any time with notification to client.
Event space will be set according to your
specifications.
Deposits
and Cancellations
A non – refundable deposit will be required
in order to hold your arrangements on a definite
basis. This deposit is due with your signed
letter of agreement and will be credited towards
your final event charges.
All Cancellations will be required in writing
and appropriate charges will be applied according
to your contract.
Guaranteed
Attendance
A guaranteed number of guests must be provided
to the Catering Office 72 (seventy –
two) business hours prior to your event. Guaranteed
numbers may not be reduced once received.
If no guarantee is received, the expected
guest count on the Banquet Event Order will
be billed as the number of guests guaranteed
and charged.
Payment and
Billing
Full payment of the estimated remainder of
your balance will be due 3 (three) days prior
to the event. If we do not have an approved
credit card on file we can only accept cashier’s
checks.
Labor Charges
A Service Charge of 20% and 8.25% Sales Tax
will be added to all food prices. Alcoholic
beverages will be subject to 20% Service Charge.
For food items requiring an attendant, a $75.00
fee will apply per attendant.
A $75.00 Bartender Fee will apply on all hosted
bars. Cash bars are subject to Bartender and
Cashier Fees at $75.00 per attendant. One
bar per 100 (one hundred) people is recommended.
Overnight Accommodations
If you require sleeping rooms for your guests,
please ask your Social Catering Manager about
our special rates.
Gift Deliveries
We will be happy to deliver any special gift
bags to your in – house guests at a
charge of $3.00 per item. Please identify
all packages with the name of your guests.
Gift bags can be handed out at check –
in complimentary.
Parking
For your guests, we offer complimentary, self
– parking or Valet parking. The Valet
parking fee is $5.00 per car.
Audio
Visual
The Houston Marriott Westchase has an in –
house Audio Visual department that can assist
you with any needs.
